Culture Compass

Area of Application:

The Culture Compass can be applied in individual or group settings and is utilized in order to identify individual and / or organisational value orientations.

Procedure:

The Culture Compass is an online-questionnaire containing 36 questions (three categorial answer alternatives in 12 section) in order to identify and display four basic dimensions of cultural value orientations (activity, time, human relationships and relation towards the nature) with three sub-dimensions.

The purpose of the Culture Compass is

• helping to understand four dimensions of different worldviews.
• to make aware unconscious assumptions wich may affect (intercultural) interactions at the workplace and / or in private life.
• to enable participants to use this awareness toward maximizing communication and organizatioal effectiveness.
